Remains
I had to pull over when I saw this burned-out house. It was long abandoned and had trees growing through it. Nobody was around, so I took a little more time than normal to practice my technique. I’ve been learning that I prefer more of the photograph to be in focus, so I’m trying to use the middle of my aperture ring more often. Both photos were shot with HP5 @ f11. I believe that Ilford HP5 (overexposed by one stop) may be my top choice for B/W film. It scans perfectly and allows me to darken my black levels just a touch, which is pretty much the only edits I currently make.
